Tom Hurvis donates $3 million to MATC

  Tom Hurvis, co-founder of the Al Hurvis-ADAMM Education Foundation, announced a $3 million challenge grant to expand Milwaukee Area Technical College’s automotive programs and kick off fund raising to create a new transportation center at MATC’s downtown campus. The grant provides $1 million in immediate funding, and up to an additional $2 million for every dollar the MATC Foundation raises for the project over the next two years. Over 240,000 meals provided!

Who would guess that something as routine as an oil change could help provide almost 250,000 meals for hungry people in our area? That’s just what happened as almost 100 new car dealers participated in the Change Your Oil, Change Lives program sponsored by the Automobile Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee. From Dec. 15 through March 4, ADAMM member dealers donated $1 for every oil change performed by their service departments to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.
